Devil’s Club print in process

I create art inspired by the natural environment of Eagle River, Alaska, its stunning landscapes, and the wildlife that inhabit this area. I take daily walks in the forest, which provide both stress relief and creative inspiration. Using cyanotype, a camera-less photographic process, I create contact prints outdoors, sometimes leaving the pieces for several days to allow the work to absorb the magic of its surroundings. This process reflects my deep connection to nature and expresses the resilience, harmony, and interconnectedness I learn from the wilderness.
